One Gippsland Planning Day
One Gippsland members meet annually to review and discuss the organisation’s advocacy strategy and the progress made over the preceding 12 months.
This year, the group met at Latrobe City’s Morwell offices.
The topics of discussion included:
identifying and assessing local projects for government investment;
agreeing a list of priority policy positions and projects; and
the renewal of the Gippsland Regional Plan (due to expire in 2025).
With the federal and state budget processes already underway and a state election due at the end of 2026, this is an ideal time to review and refresh our advocacy approach.
We look forward to sharing the outcome of our planning day in the new year.
