Looking Ahead

One Gippsland held its annual Planning Day at the Federation University, Gippsland Campus on Friday 28 June, it was a great opportunity to review our successes to date and set a path for the next year.

A key topic of discussion was updating the Gippsland Regional Plan which is due to expire in 2025. As a key guiding document for One Gippsland, Members set out how they would work together to develop the plan and priorities over a five-year period (2025-2030).

Members also discussed expanding the membership of One Gippsland, setting a new criteria for setting regional priorities.  Watch this space for more information on these exciting developments.

With Local Government elections scheduled for October this year we look forward to thanking our elected representatives for their dedication at our August Board meeting, before councils move into the Election Period.
