Looking ahead

The second half of 2025 promises to be as busy as the first six months.

The Gippsland Regional Plan 2020-25 is now in its final year, so we will be turning our minds to the development of the plan for the next five years. The new plan will outline our long-term vision for Gippsland in 2040 and identify the five-year priority actions that will realise that vision.

We will hold a planning day in August. The day will be a valuable opportunity to review our successes and plan our advocacy strategy following the re-election of the Albanese Government and well ahead of next year’s state poll.

Also in August, One Gippsland will return to Spring Street to continue to build understanding of and support for our funding and policy priorities.  We’re looking forward to deepening our relationships with government and opposition decision makers and we value the time they give us, particularly on busy sitting days.

In the coming months, One Gippsland will also look at its membership structure to determine how to bring more expertise to the table in sectors not currently represented among our members.

One Gippsland Chair Cr Nathan Hersey says One Gippsland will return to Spring Street to continue its advocacy work.
