Sally Jones is the Acting Chief Executive Officer of Baw Baw Shire Council. With more than 25 years in local government, Sally brings a wealth of experience and a thoughtful, values-based approach to leadership. Having worked across metropolitan, rural and semi-rural councils, she understands the different needs and opportunities of local communities.  Prior to her current appointment, Sally was engaged as Interim Chief Executive Officer at Central Goldfields Shire Council for a 10-month period. 

Sally is an agile and innovative strategic leader with demonstrated success in managing an extremely diverse range of portfolios. She has a commitment to innovation in Local Government program and service delivery, and enjoys leading the development and achievement of organisational efficiencies and responsive outcomes. She is highly regarded for her ability to lead through transformational change to achieve organisational goals.

With significant experience in Executive leadership, policy development and strategic planning, she can navigate highly complex and political environments and is a dynamic and collaborative leader.
